Terms of Service

Template. This document describes how WhizzLink is built and configured, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel review and adapt it for your jurisdiction before relying on it.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using WhizzLink (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password and API tokens confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We never store your password in plain text.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create, host, or distribute links to:

  • phishing pages or any content designed to obtain credentials or payment details deceptively;
  • malware, ransomware, or other harmful executable content;
  • fraudulent schemes, or content misrepresenting an affiliation with another party;
  • content that infringes someone else's intellectual property;
  • unlawful adult content, or adult content presented without appropriate gating;
  • unsolicited bulk messaging (spam), in any medium.

You also may not attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or access controls, or use automated means to interfere with the Service's operation.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Anyone can report a link through our abuse report form. Links reported as phishing or malware are suspended immediately pending review; other reports are suspended once several independent reports are received. We may suspend a link, suspend an account, or block a destination domain where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. Where we suspend one of your links, we notify you by email.

5. Plans, limits, and billing

Each plan carries limits on links, monthly tracked clicks, QR codes, campaigns, custom domains, team members, and analytics retention, as shown on the pricing page. Reaching your monthly click limit pauses analytics recording; it does not stop your links redirecting. Paid plans run until the end of the period you have paid for, after which an unrenewed account reverts to the free plan.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and the redirect path fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the destination URLs and other content you submit. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the Service — storing your links, redirecting visitors to them, generating QR codes, and producing your analytics.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination your links stop redirecting; ask us before closing your account if you need to export your analytics first.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
