Only if you tell them to. You can set an expiry date and time, a maximum number of clicks, or leave a link running indefinitely. Expired links show a branded expired page rather than a dead end.
No. The redirect is issued immediately after a cached link lookup and an atomic counter increment. Device, geo, and bot enrichment all happen afterwards on a queue.
Yes, on paid plans. Add the domain, place the DNS records we show you, and verify it. You can then set it as the default domain for new links.
A combination of an anonymous visitor cookie, a salted hash of the IP, and a user-agent fingerprint, over a window that defaults to 24 hours and is configurable.
Not by default. We store a salted hash for uniqueness detection. If raw IP storage is enabled, addresses are anonymised automatically once the retention window passes.
